Bernie Ecclestone has said that Qatari money would accelerate the development of facilities surrounding the home of the British Grand Prix.

This doesn't really deserve comment....

the middle east own English football and now you want to give them our national race track...lets give away our F1 industry...as we have with every other industry.

As long as Bernie gets his money he cares not a jot, that man had an ethical bypass at birth !

Well.. Bernie does NOT sound like Winston Churchill. Good thing Bernice was not Prime Minister in WW2.

Boy o boy, another case of outsourcing at it's finest. My how the elite so easily sell off everything to foreign money.. just keep buying up those luxury box tickets so they stay profitable

Last year Bernie got a 21% pay rise, but this was dwarfed by the 41.8% pay rise the directors of Silverstone awarded themselves.

With any luck the Qataris will insist on redeveloping the awful new pit lane, where some team garages are hidden from spectators in the main grandstand.
