Phew..
Glad I picked the right Lotus team shirt to buy. Weren't cheap you know.
Loved Super 7's for years, glad to see Caterham getting some attention, amazing little cars. R500 beat a Veyron on the Top Gear track.

Told you so.

Fernandes was just as dishonest as Bahar. People who pretended Fernandes wasn't trying to take advantage of the prestige of the Lotus name were deluding themselves. Now it's true for everyone to see.

Disagree with me all you want, won't change anything.

From Lotus to Chapman, what is next, The Gurney Eagle? Heck, Lotus races in Indy using the same chassis and engine as they all do. Marketing and Banks are taking over racing and it is a darn shame. Liked it better when gasoline, oil and manu's controlled the high end with parts and tool guys taking the bottom end. At least they were connected to a actual product being sold and used on autos, not a bank whose stuff is a risk and requires Trust with capital, without an owners garantee.

racy. the lotus racing in indy is a marketing tool of lotus group, manufacturer of lotus road cars.
but the fia should bring in a rule that nobody can use the name of a prior entrant unless there is a direct tangible connection. buying or renting a name should not be allowed.
