F1 » Vettel: It came in my direction

Sebastian Vettel has said he was 'pleased' to take pole today for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and that it was 'very special' to equal Nigel Mansell's record of 14 poles in a single season.

The photo shows clearly Hammis hand is much bigger than Vettels. Is this not an unfair advantage for Ron Jr ? Imagine if Vettels hand were as big as Ron Jrs, this would give Helmut Jr an further 0.3 sec over a lap.

As for Newey beeing the star of Red Bull ? For sure, it isnt really fair that all the other drivers have to design their cars themself in spare time. For sure, but imagine Ron Jr getting a teammate with equal treatment for the very first time in his entire racing career, man that would be unfair.

Newey/Vettel-Webber is still better than Newey/Ham-Webber could ever be. In a Ham/Webb team Webber would be the Nr 1 driver of course and thats for sure.

As I said earlier, once Newey leaves, and Seb may be looking for another team, things will not be all rosy as they are now. What goes round comes round. It is only a repeated phenomena.
Michael Schumacher with Brawn,Todd etc just the same won it all.Again he won it with Flavio, and is trying for the triple crown with Merc.
Seb needs testing with other teams, not the fastest car all the time.
That is like comparing a mini to a Rolls all the time. The equation is wrong.

myself and eddie used to get a lot of stick due to the fact that we saw seb as a future wdc. i think that this year has finally proved that we were right. the macca is now the fastest car out there (35 more bhp, 7kph higher top speed) the two drivers are equall matched. webber is where the second best car should be, but it is just the extra ability of seb that is evident when it matters. in q3, seb was actually slower than lulu in the first two sectors, but then blitzed it and snatched pole.

BTW, I've noticed a new resurgence of blind Hamiltoniacs in this site lately. I dunno if it's bc of Mclaren having become the best car in the end of the year or bc they've had enough time to lick their wounds.
