Team Lotus' ambiguous Monza statement continues to cause speculation over the strength of Jarno Trulli's role for 2012.

Long past time for both Trulli and Barrichello to move on. The excuse of 'huge experience' doesn't wash anymore I fear. The question really is "are they still competitive"? The answer to which is in this case only too clear.

@Nick, ********. Kovalainen finished 1 lap down, over a minute ahead of his team mate and challenged the mid-table cars for pretty much the entire race. The car isn't good but he's a minute off his own team mate. That's not good either.

The Toyota should have won 1 race in 2009, and he couldn't manage that.

Don't worry Jarno, there's plenty of racing outside of F1. Check out Toyota's LMP1 program in sportscars. They might decide to run a second car.

I would like to see Jarno in DTM or LMP1 he still has a lot to give..........this is not his season in Team caterham he's not the favoured driver thats for sure. Who would they replace him with if they go for a rookie with money they will get beat by Virgin and HRT and what experienced driver would want to go there only a desperado I guess
