Good result for FI but bl00dy hell...what boring race.

Watched half of it on fast forward, when qualifying serves up some excitment then there's somethign far wrong with that track, it doesn't work for F1 cars, the DRS was just a joke.

Taz, agree that the DRS was a little artificial. Car one gets overtaken by car two in the first DRS zone, but due to their proximity, car one immediately retakes car two in the next DRS zone.

But for me, it was a good race. Probably due to the fact that I watched it in the UK and had commentary that was much better than what I usual get at home. For instance, commentators who feel they have to introduce each car radio transmission, even though it says who it is on the screen and even if they talk over part of the transmission. Then say that they didn't hear enough of the transmission to comment on. Well, if they'd just have STFU, we'd all know......

F1 has become very dull and boring with too many clear performance gaps between the teams ... no real competiton. Red Bull are clearly the best team , McL clearly second and Ferrari clearly third etc right to the last team. Why go racing to be the 6th best team ?

They could've been much ahead and even threatening Renault had they not lost Techies prior to last season.

Next year they will certainly hope for 5th place but with RobertK coming back it wouldn't be an easy job.

...and for some reason I think Hulk will be kept waiting for 2013. Who knows even Toro Rosso might grab him instead of Williams.

@MikeG

For obvious reason mate.. Bigger piece off Bernie's Pie!!

FI have much better funding now...tho they still will be a small team but it will give them enough R&D going on to be able to hold a candle to Renault next season

fi may be facing serious difficulties. mallyas airline, kingfisher appears to be bankrupt and will probably not survive. due to busness complexities, it is not known if f1 will be affected, but they will lose their main sponsor.
