This was probably the first time since Melbourne I've seen Barrichello looking like he had a spark again!

A very good start and made up a lot of places in the first 5 laps, no points for his reward but considering how little practice he has had all weekend, a fairly stellar performance I'd say.

Brazil next, from memory, he normally finds about 1/2 a second a lap just from the crowd cheering.... if this is his last race then I'd like to see him go off on a high!

Surely, with the large number of drivers once again staying in post and the many GP2 winners clawing for a few places, there is not much chance for Rubinho if Williams do drop him - and with typical hard-headedness they have not given him a fighting chance to promise himself to another team by confirming their line-up before the end of the season.

apparently Raikkonens manager and Sir Frank were ln Abu Dahbi yesterday whilst Kimi was registering a dnf in Rally Wales, suggestions that parties needed to wait untill WRC finished (Raikkonen tenth in the standings)
