Money, money, money!!!! That's all this "Annoying" man wants. Bernie, what about the Fans. we want to see racing at it's best, from all over the World, on proper race tracks, being watched by proper fans!!!!!! Give these new tracks time to settle in, before you start black mailing them!!!!!!

If Bernie really wanted this race I'm sure he would make it happen some how. Seems like now that the New York is on the table he's lost interest in Austin, he obviously sees New York as a bigger cash cow and we all know that cash is behind everyone of his moves.

Austin have until the 7th of December to honour the agreement that they made with FOM the promoters and COTA, or no race (probably).

It seems Austin want the race for free, but I doubt CVC or the teams would be happy racing for nothing.

Caroline our guys from Australia who have visited
Austin say Heavy Equipment and ancillaries have been removed from the site of the circuit and they can not see a level ground being reached.

They perceive the situation as a lack of trust in Eccleston by concerned parties.

Correct or not?

Every time Bernie issues one of the statements you have to ask 'Why'. We all know his only interest is the height of his money heap, and he will manipulate any situation to increase it. I expect there will be the usual 'Bernie Backflip' in a few days and he will be saying the opposite having, having pressured the situation to his own advantage. No amount of money will make you taller Bernie.

mattshctick (play on mateschitz???) well said. bernie is playing mind games. having ny as a possible, he is just pressurising austin. i dont think that anyone knows the real facts about austin, so why not wait and see. after all, berniue has bent over backwards for the likes of india and korea, and previously turkey, leaving inspections until a week or so before the scheduled race.

Looks as though Bernie's brinksmanship is going to backfire on him this time.
Just for once it would have been good to have had a new venue without all the aggro that is of Bernie's making!

This time Richard he is not playing F1 games.

The Texas Govt have no confidence in Bernies ethics.

The backlash will affect more than F1 and will stretch to Moto G.P./International V8 Supercars and so on.

Shame

Edit: Typo

of COURSE its a money grab. Now that they have NJ signed , Bernie has leverage. But what pisses me off is the fact that, from the get go, this project has NEVER been secure. Its another money grab, but on another level. Someones gonna walk away with millions and there will sit another project, half done. Another failure that can be chalked up to greed. I love my country. It has so much to offer. But I HATE the dirty politicians and business men that are running the show!
