" I have great confidence in our drivers...... even if he didn't have such a great season or much luck, we can't question the ability of a driver who was winning the title three years ago and who has always been fast and competitive.......Let's say he'll have to prove himself next season."

The 400 year old King James Bible says, "A double minded man is unstable in all his ways." James 1:8

"There is nothing new under the sun."

ohhh... so that's why they booted Kimi Raikkonen out for another driver.

"A double minded man is unstable in all his ways."
Some statement, Methinks that applies to just about every team manager, owner in F1. Massa, like Hamilton has had a very uncommon season.
Chalk it up to bad luck or other BS, that is just what it was.. Di Montezemolo who are you going to replace Massa with. Sure many will apply, none better than Massa.

What do you mean none better than Massa? Money is almost as good as talent these days. Sergio Perez is in their young driver program and i think he's solid. And he will bring in almost the same loads of cash as Alonso.

Jules Bianchi was clearly faster than Perez, so he might be even better.

I think Massa is only keeping the seat because he has people in high places. His agent being Nicolas Todt, the son of Jean Todt, ex-team principal and current FIA president.

Who you know matters.

I hope he starts strongly, if he has another season like this he'll be lucky to see the year out, best way to drive another driver up to speed it to stick them in the car mid to late season.

Teflonso has the measure of him by a large margin apart from the odd weekend.

Ferdi shud b worried about 2014 and beyond. If Massa is replaced, the replacement will kick ass off Ferdi.
Then everyone will realise Ferrari wasn't slow drivers were.Plus these stupids cannot even give good feedbacks as to how they want their cars. Team with highest budget shud b having best/ good engineers.
The one to replace Ferdi has fortunately/unfortunately contract with redbull till 2014.But i don't think Sebastian Vettel is interested in Ferrari. He can get the same pay package from Redbull. Why will he go?
