Flocea, that's what I have tried to explain the other day about the Renault, yes at the start of the season it was very near on par with the top runners but by now it looks bad compared to the front runners because development has long ago been stopped.
Richard, “I and others were criticised” thanks for that post, there is nothing for me to add, just hope that some people can realise what we was talking about than.

@hotlaps, has there ever been a time when there *weren't* more F1 hopefuls than there were seats available?

And the only thing that matters is that a team boss wants to hold a seat for a specific driver. Until that changes, Kubica appears to have a chance at coming back. From what I've read, Renault are keen to have him and are making concessions to make that happen.

Why is this pantomime being played out?

We all know, just as with 'Sandro Nannini that Robert won't make an F1 come-back. There is no way, after suffering such a trauma, that he'll ever have the dexterity, flexibility or strength in his arm that he had previously.

Sad, but true.

wow, don't think I can top hotlaps, but here goes: Kubica nxt to Alonso is one of the most talented, non-crashing, F1 pilote. It is a real shame he will not be back during the 1st part of 2012. I hope he is back as quickly as possible and is able to pass as usual, (without crashing into innocent drivers). Forza Kubica!
