F1 » Vettel: Pole record 'special'

Sebastian Vettel: It's pretty special to get the record. Nigel obviously took three or four races less to achieve it, but nevertheless it's been an incredible year for us and an incredible journey.

All in a days work for Seb. Another day at the office. Its becoming the norm. Oh, and I'm loving that quote when they say 'I'm enjoying it all......'

Instead of embracing this amazing champion and his teams acheivments with a new chapter being written in F1 people get on here and complain about F1 being boring. These are not real F1 fans! Seb won't be on top forever but he is undisbutelty the man and Red Bull the team to catch. Who can do it? Can't wait for 2012 .........

What do we want????

Vettel can not do more than what he does at the moment and that is to try to win every time he gets in a Redbull car.

What would some people here like him to do??? slow slown to make the races more interesting???

I am sure Ferrari, McLaren and Mercedes would have liked him to sign for them to perform this boring services.

I am an avid Hamilton fan, but sportsman first, and frankly in my opinion we would have to be blind to try to find anything wrong in SEB s season.

He had the perfect season.

Go LEWIS, but SEB you have been the BEST(by far).

Hmm... 14/16 poles or 15/19 poles? I know which one is better and more special.

The more races there are in a year, the more records are going to be broken. They still won't be as good as the previous records though.

I remember when it was only Schumacher and Alonso to score 100 points in 3 consecutive years, but now with the new points system, it basically means nothing.

It will still be recorded as a recorded in the history books as history books aren't filled by people that records what suites the driver/team they support and doesn't let their interest interfare.

Exactly as not only SS noted: when it comes to biases (and it always comes in a way or another) the history books will ever be in conflict with the everyone perceptions. Not that I am above this and therefore here you are my judgment too: how many former champs have had Mansell to fight against at the time of record? And not the least: by how far was his Williams superior ? :p
ps: I will admit nevertheless : I was supporting Mansell at that time :D
