F1 » Hamilton: I wasn’t quite quick enough on the day

Lewis Hamilton: Jenson was massively quick today. I ended up a couple of tenths away from him, so clearly I could have gone a bit faster.

Spending time with his (ex) cat after the the last race put him in a much better place than merely winning a gp could, so missing out on pole should be no problem, at least he is happy!

Lewis can easily from 4th. Once Webber can get off the line quickly and doesn't bog him down while Vettel streaks away and takes Button with him. It will likely end up being a race between the usual top 5 plus Massa.

So long as the start is incident-free as mentioned, then I am backing Lewis to win in any wet race as he's easily the best wet driver out there, bar none. He walks on water!!

Day, Your boy Lulu has only managed to win from 4th on the grid twice in his F1 career, so I wouldn't exactly call it easy...

Main thing is lets all hope that Felipe isn't the victim of Lulu's hooligan driving for the 7th time this season, quite a strike rate!

Taipan, you're full of it. Massa has been at fault at least as many times as Hamilton, if not more.

That said, Hamilton tomorrow can't think only about himself: Button is fighting for 2nd with Alonso. So if Lewis can lend a hand, he should.

I'm disappointed, I thought Lewis would qualify 1st or 2nd. Let's hope he can drive yet another great race.

Kenny, "Hamilton tomorrow can't think only about himself" Can you tell me of any instance when he hasn't thought only of himself? I can't think of any.

As for your imagination blaming Flip for at least half of their "moments" this year...well I may well be full of it as you claim but you my friend are quite clearly deluded, which is worse?

@ Taipan and the guy who couldn't think of a name so just mashed the keyboard instead: I find it utterly amazing that you're still on the "Massa's had his season ruined by Hamilton" bandwagon. How many times does a man have to break his own suspension doing the SAME thing, spin his car in the middle of a race with nobody anywhere near him, be massively outperformed in qualifying and the race by his team mate, (as today) use up all his tyres to still be miles off the basic car pace in qualifying, knowingly drive into other cars (as was Johnny Herbert's conclusion the other week), before you will concede that his terrible season - easily the most underperforming of all drivers in the top teams - is his own fault? This perpetual sniping at Hamilton, no matter what, is getting beyond ridiculous.

Tiapan..

Baby you got this thing for Hamilton really bad. The funny part is that you have never had direct contact with Hamilton..
Never seen the man eye to eye. Defiantly know nothing about him personally. The big question is WHY. Why sit here on this site and
trash everything about Hamilton. Are you some type of Internet type stalker.
Soft core insanity is treatable !!
