george , i echo that. ALL the teams, no matter how good or bad, have contributed to a great season. we can all be hard on them at times, but without them, we would have nothing to watch and comment about.

I totally agree Richard, great season, lots of close action, lots to talk about. Having a run a way winner hasn't spoiled it for me one bit, plenty of things made it interesting. I'd go as far as to say it's one of the best seasons in the last 20 years.

Piercarlo Awards 2011.
Bore of the year. SV and the Red Bull. Just too good as a combination to work out which one is truly special, possibly both
Driver of the year excluding SV. JB, yet again surprised many and hads now won in ALL conditions for McLaren.
Rookie Of The Year. PDR, followed by SP
Best Driver of a Crap Car. HK
Worst Driver Of A Good Car. PM followed closely by MS
'Taxi For' Award for drivers who have outstayed their welcome. RB followed by MS and JT. 2012 award already given to PDLR
Massa Refuelling Rig SNAFU of the year. JB's front wheel at silverstone.

Black Beauty award for most beautiful car. Caterham Lotus, it might be rubbish but those colours, mmmm..
Arrows 02 award for ugliest car. The HRT Legomobile.
Biggest Waste of Money of the year. Renault blown exhaust, runner up either FA or MS, whoever was paid most.
Bargain of the year (for the final year). free to air coverage from the Beeb
