justimber. maybe thats what john meant, but he is forgetting that mika was competing in dtm for a year or two. but this is an f1 site and the implication seemed to be that mika was returning to f1 just as kimi is. maybe john will clear up the confusion

I'm very pleased that Kimi will be back in F1. Definitely a cool personality compared to some of the other guys in the paddock. For sure, he's probably not going to be able to win races right off the bat but it'll be fun to watch him non the less. I find it really interesting that Kimi has said that he's already been working on his fitness for an F1 return.

It's a good thing Kimi coming back, he probably has to answer a few critics but he's fast enough, biggest question mark is the tyres. Heidfeld struggled with them but still almost outscored Petrov despite been dropped mid season.

The Kimi/Boullier dynamic fascinates me, chalk and cheese to say the least and they have form.

God I hope Lotus/Proton/Lada/Renault make a decent car next season cos I could see the Iceman thawing out quickly and melting off to retirement.

with so many comments on this article im sure bernie is happy he s back as any publicity is good for F1 id say its a 50/50 bet whether kimi performs or not when he was hot he was hot , but im not sure the renualt is going to keep him happy for long , i just hope he can keep up his enthusiasm for long enough to keep his reputation in tack , it will be intesting ,for sure the pireli tyres will be the biggest guessing point, from memory kimi attacks the wheel a bit like webber and he has had no end of problems this year.

The last time he had one rally outing that was followed by one victory in a ferrari that could be beaten by Fiat Punto. This time round he has 2 full seasons of rally driving ... cant wait to see what he does next season ... Go Kimi Go!!!!
