Given the rather murky circumstances of Colin C's "demise" and all the not so flimsy reports of "interested parties" being seen in South America for no reason, I'd say it's entirely possible the old boy was in the crowd with his hat on watching it anyway. Just a thought.

i would hardly call being tenth in the wcc "doing colin proud"! instead all malaysia f1 has done is drag the once proud name of lotus, through the courts, needlessly.
but the "achievement" means little. they were the only one of the three backmarker teams to have a competitive engine and two experienced drivers!

Lofus is just a name. Glad they have ditched it . why spend all your hard earned cash so some old geezers can get misty eyed about a naff black n gold livery. Thats why its gone and Caterham will see the benefit.

How is being at the back failing to score points 'doing Chapman proud'? The original team Lotus did better when they where in their death throws, you on the other hand are an embarrassment to the name.

Lofus, if you don't understand Chapmans engineering brilliance then you really shouldn't bother watching F1. Idiot.

Not really, there were more teams in 94. Team Lotus achieved several top 10 finishes in 94, plus Herbert qualified 4th in Italy, all whilst they were on the brink of bankruptcy. What did 1 Malaysia racing do this year? A couple of 13th places, completely failing in their pre-season aim of scoring points. Chapman is rolling in his grave.
