Going by the BBC's track record of left wing bias it was probably a decision to please the "eco" fanatics. Also the pending Olympic's, which I also disagree with, from the perspective that, as a tax/TV licence payer I am paying twice for something that I have no interest in, or wish to,see/hear about.

Excellent. We may have lost half the races live, but at least we've got another year of Lee McKenzie's incisive questioning....

So Lewis, what went wrong?

So Fernando, what went wrong?

So Felipe, what went wrong?

etc. etc.

I can only assume she's cheap....

You are right '@Give it some thought', in fact News of the World were offered the MP's expenses story, but turned it down.

Now what does that say about the Murdochs'?

I've been following F1 ever since I was a small child. I've followed every race, qualy, practice, test session etc, you name it, from the early 80s til the last race this year and I've enjoyed every moment of it, witnessed the greatest moments as well as the most heart breaking ones. But now, this has all gone and watching the last race of 2011, even though I thoroughly enjoyed it, it was a bitter-sweet weekend that I experienced. I won't switch to Sky's coverage because I simply refuse to line the pockets of the greedy. Although I will miss Martin Brundle, he's a great chap and a great commentater & I wish him the very best of luck, he'll be the only Sky F1 crew with any commitment where as the rest will be just dull & boring. However, I still remember his words when this news first came about, "I Don't see how it's going to work!" I personally don't know how it'll work and I strongly suspect it will not. The viewing figures will be very poor and I won't be at all surprised in seeing
