Almost the entire BBC radio 5 live team now with Sky F1. Bernie said some time ago that they would have to do something about them, discouraging the practice of watching the race from 'other' sources while listening to 5 Live. The transformation continues!

I suspect Sky money + the BBC keeping their reporters and commentators in the dark about cutting their coverage made this inevitable.

Martin plus Croftie plus Ted plus all round. Except for Davidson and his endless waffle during practice, they really should have left him out.
No adverts during the race - probably loads before and after though - and as I already have HD I won't have to pay anything extra, and I don't have to subscribe to any Sky Sports Channel, yes I'll take some of that.
I can see adverts coming in during a safety car period, or any other stoppage, but I can live with that.
It looks as though someone at Sky has trawled the web for ideas and concerns of we happy band of followers.

The loss of Ted Kravitz will severely degrade the BBC show and the defection of the R5L team has wrecked the chances of watching elsewhere with the UK radio commentary. I have this terrible uneasy feeling that Legard will return *shudder* possibly with Karun Chandok as sidekick.
Nightmare in a bubble car......

So thank you BBC and thank you SkumTV. May the flies of a thousand camels etc etc.

For my money the best commentator in the game is Ben Edwards, just the right balance of info i.e. enough datail for expert viewers and takes care of the less informed.
