@goldenboy..If you had the talents of F1's Golden Goose an
international sport, just dream (you fantasy) how much money
you could demand. Lay back, close your eyes and smile..
Lewis is, and you would be, very special..

@Taipan,,try using an American dictionary..I stand by my original
comment. Remember the UK is not uncivilized down town Brooklyn, halleluiah baby..

angelina. you are as bad as ronnie! 100m for a TEN year contract is the norm for mclaren??
never in the history of f1 has a team ever committed to such a contract, and nobody would be stupid enough to do so. but whilst saying that, 10m for a year would probably be closer to the mark, as his team leader is getting 45 m for three years.

jose. just saw your post. have you been at the wd40 again?? do you really believe that a 10 year contract would ever be given by mclaren, and that it is the normal package for mclaren?
and yes, i DO know that what i said is correct. instead of making a rather pointless comment, please prove me wrong.

Jose I can honestly say I'd rather have my leg bitten off by a blunt crocodile than resort to an American dictionary. But it makes no difference what dictionary you look at empathise was the wrong word trust me!
Now stop being nonsensical, keep away from the WD40 and leave your dog alone FFS!

That's my point richard, Mclaren's No 2 driver looks like he will be paid more than Jenson who has been better than Lewis this season, a 100 million over what period i dont know one tabloid said 100m a year but cant see that, would say 5 years which would put Lewis at 20m a year.

Mclarern like Brundell musts feel he has the tools to beat his teammate next year.

Ron, Alonso and Kimi were paid more than 20m a year at Ferrari, Schumacher was paid closer to 50m a year at Ferrari, but do you really think Hamilton is worth that money at the moment? 2 5th places and a 4th place in the last 3 seasons suggests that hes not and paying him more than Button would just be silly after this season, just as silly as Ferrari offering Massa more than Alonso next year. What ever he gets offered by McLaren I think if he doesn't perform again next year McLaren have to do the sensible thing and get rid of him, then who would have him?
