Paul di Resta: The only thing that I can say is that I am still working closely with the team and helping with the new car.

Mercedes put him in at McLaren in place of the waste of space BUTTON. A much better prospect than Button will ever be. Have him alongside Hamilton, they will take the challenge to Red Bull Bring on 2012, Hamilton champion and Button sacked for being useless.

@aldo2654

are you kidding? I don't think Button is gonna get sacked for being useless, and I don't think finishing 2nd in the championship this year would make him a waste of space!

Hope Di Resta goes to Mercedes in 2013.

We are allowed to have our own opinion, are we not? this year he was lucky. Webber struggled on the Pirellis like few others, Hamilton & Massa were as if they had magnets attached to them, Alonso, Rosberg & Schumacher in inferior cars. I think Vettel will have a major problem in 2012 if Hamilton gets a good McLaren.

di Resta shouldn't be dropped by Force India... that would be foolish.

Comment 2 are you completely ridiculous... it sounds like you haven't watched Formula 1 since 2008... since then Hamilton hasn't done much and was out classed by is much more underrated team mate Jenson Button. I would love to see di Resta along side Jenson in 2013 because Jenson would teach Paul a lot and it would be a very strong team.

paul is overrated by the british media!! He is 26 and performed well in first half but was severly outraced and outquilified by adrian sutil in the 2nd half! Even nico beat diresta in brazil friday practice despite not driving regularly!

I'd say all 3 are pretty equal on performance and there's a good case for each of them to get a race seat. I really like di Resta think he comes accross really well in interviews etc Hulkenberg really deserves another chance and Sutil was simply amazing in Brazil and pretty damn rapid over the 2nd half of the season.
Tough decision - someone will be very dissapointed
