@Richard
"when seb had his good results at str, he was in a rb clone"

But RB didn't win any race in 2008.
Seb's points were more than points of Webber,Coulthard & Bourdais added together.

BTW i don't think RB r looking for another Vettel. Maybe just younger Webber. Podiums & race wins in case like Berazil when Seb's car fails.
But Marko was too hard. Webber couldn't get a win b4 Brazil how can he expect Jaime to get it in STR?

angelina. granted that rb didnt win a gp in 2008, but the car was good, let down only by its drivers who were dc and webber. but it had good results. seb driving what was in effect the same car, albeit with a ferrari engine, confirmed that the newey design was fast. their current non-newey car is nowhere.

trent. yeah, i still believe that ricciardo didnt shine. in a straight race between himself and tonio, he only beat him once. any other time was due to tonio being on different strategies or having to pit.
he may surprise in str, bt in my opinion it will be a surprise. vergne, with little experience could beat him. but we'll see.

The worse thing about sacking these two, especially JA, is that Helmut waited until there weren't any decent seats left to make his announcement. It is as if he wanted to really hurt the chances they may have in other teams so that STR would not have competition from its former drivers. EVIL MH!
