HRT is setting themselves up to epic fail. This nationalistic nonsense is utterly stupid and ultimately will make them close up shop in a year or two. What experience does Perez Sala have? Nigh on zero! Two seasons running as a backmarker 25 years ago does not a Team Principal make.

not sure if sala has even visited races over the years, so it may come as a bit of a shock to him. also, i am nor sure of his business background either. the only way that hrt can make any progress is to start hiring experience, (not driver). i cant believe that they will survive another year, unless someone like repsol get involved.

Sorry but i think you guys are being a bit hard, Pedro has been with a top team if i am not mistake for at least 8 years, are you seriously saying that he is not bringing experience with him......he knows the inner workings of McLaren, that surley must count.

norville. jackie is a shrewd business man, but i would hardly call stewart gp a success story!
re dlr, i dont know if your comment is directed at me, but i excluded the driver from my comment. apart from that, he was never a top rated driver and he may have got a partial drive last year, but i dont think that he will help much, apart from maybe having a few bits of info from mclaren or sauber. just thinkking though, mclaren are said to be helping hrt technically, so maybe dlr is what they meant??

I did think about stewart GP but the team has been Ford / Jaguar since before becoming Red Bull and the foundations laid down by Stewart racing don't have a lot to do with RBR becoming world champions, that was down to DM's substantial investment, a great designer, a great driver, best staff recruited and a good (and under-rated) team manager.

I don't think Jackie and Paul Stewart did a bad job but it was ages ago, as for Prost's team, lets not go there.

Well it doesn't take much to figure out that Jaime Alguersuari will be the 2nd driver next year. While it make make for Spanish pride, it won't make for good results. The only way they will finish above 23rd place is due to retirements.
