@JosephG - I agree. But given that Red Bull (and to a lesser extent McLaren) have nowhere else to go but down, anyone making inroads or beating them will be a surprise. I hope Mercedes step it up. Ferrari will have no excuse if they aren't winning races.

"...the double world champion is prepared to give himself a little time off to plan the downfall of Sebastian Vettel."

I love how this line was written.

totally off topic...
red bull have announced that they are rebranding to the name "red nose". their spokesman, nikki claus, has confirmed that their latest challenger is being prepared for a secret test in two days time. this will take place at an undisclosed location, in darkness , to avoid anyone taking photos. the new car will be aircooled and will avoid the need for a rear wing. the team leader is rudolf carraciola, who has been resurected for the test. other team members are unknown, but it is said that instead of "awe and wonder", we can expect "donner and blitzen".
as part of their publicity campaign, nikki says that he will be giving out freebies.

very interesting info!

I don't know who will win in 2012 but I doubt that Red Bull can have a better season than in 2011.McLaren and Ferrari will close the gap but I can't say if this will be enough.Maybe Mercedes too will raise up the game and I hope that Lotus will give Raikkonen the right car to fight for the podium time to times. We will have 6 world champions next year in five different teams. This looks amazing! If you ask me,Alonso is better than anyone else on the grid.
