Rubens is the new Patrese, the difference being that Patrese had dignity and stepped down when it was his time.

Rubens is just tarnishing his career at this point, and has been for a few years now. Just call it quits, old man. Your time has come and passed.

if he can bring the sponsorship required then get shot of maldonado he is decidedly average, and considering algersuari and sutil dont have drives its an outrage hes even on the grid.

Rubens is the only hope for Williams. Sutil and Senna are quick and perhaps Senna has a degree of untapped potential but for the here and now, with a new technical team, engine and car concept, Rubens' experience will count. Consistency in at least one element of the team mix is crucial - Rubens is the only option for Williams.

When someone say a driver is great on the development of the car it is not about making miracles, is about giving great feedback for the team. Frank Williams said great things about Barrichello's feedback, also Eddie Jordan,Brown, even, Schumacher used some of Rubens feedbacks, and Button himself said that. Notice that in Japan, if I'm not mistakent, both Williams car almost didn't test the car for crashes and mechanical problems, and both cars went to the track with Rubens tips. I'm sorry but the best seat for williams would be Rubens and Sutil... the only atractiveness of Bruno is his Senna surname.

By the way, I prefer the old but great Schumacher, Barrichello and Trulli than those young and millionaire Maldonado, Petrov, Chandok,Buemi and even Senna. (Sorry, but he drove for 6 races and couldnt beat the 4 Barrichellos points). It is not that I think Barrichello is this superduper driver...but he is better than at least 40% of this grid. F1 is going in Indycar way... you pay you get in...if it continues like that it will decline soon.
