F1 » F1 Driver of the Year vote: 2nd

He might have had few obstacles standing in his way as he clinched a second straight F1 world title in 2011, but Sebastian Vettel clearly lacked a little something as you voted him only number two in your F1 Driver of the Year poll

Vettel is the same as Micheal same as loab they win to much it gets boring we all grow to loath them & as many have said its the bloody finger as well.
Lulu didn't place because well we all know he c##ked up to much & thinks he,s Sena.
Buttons top because he was the underdog that came good against Lulu & gave seb a run for it on the odd day & people like him simple.
ye maybe seb should have won but we dint want him to did we so he came 2nd makes a nice change.

Jeeeez, what else is he supposed to do????
Win even more races?
Become president?
Become a UK citizen?

Some sour loosers on this thing i'd say.

Anyway, happy newyear!

F1 just hasn't been the same since 2007. The influx of one particular set of 'fan-boys' seems to have really upset some peoples abilities to think straight.

@gweed I agree with you. If hamilton wins this poll then I lose faith in a lot of humans. Come on. But I guess if people want a soap opera-ish stupid reality show plot in a sport then I guess Hamilton should win considering how much self inflicted drama and attention he brought on himself. This national biased is rediculous. I'm an Italian but I'm not gonna vote for Trulli or Liuzzi because they aren't good drivers. I wish people wouldn't be so biased. This poll is like Prost/Jean-Marie Balestre all over again.

Wow at all the people saying it was the car.... if that was the case then why did Webber do so poorly compared to Vettel. The German deserves the recognition and this poll is definitely biased towards the Brits, who do not want to be disappointed with 2nd.

What, no mention Of Karun Chandhok. He deserves a mention for his well informed commentary during the practice sessions. Seriously, although I am a huge Button fan, Vettel did everything brilliantly and deserves the No 1 spot. So what if he waves his finger, everybody deserves a little bit of individualism!

"Do you really think that Vettel is a 122 points better than Button in equal machines."

Nobody thinks that. So the question is why are you even asking this?

I don't wanna confuse you too much with logical thinking, but it is possible to have the best car and be the best driver at the same time. In that case, the advantage just becomes larger. If a driver wins a championship with such a large margin, chances are high that it was actually the car AND the driver that made the difference.
