Ridiculous ... world champion only 2nd, extremely bias. What score If Button got WC?

Nice 1 Button ! He drove a great year without having the best car and rose above Lulu with his consistent smooth driving.

Now, I know a lot of people will rubbish this pole. (Lulu fans !!)
But don't forget its a pole voted by the public and their interpretation is that Jenson Button achieved and progressed the most throughout the year.
I for one am delighted the public have reflected his brilliant year and look forward to 2012. Don't forget McLaren also see something GOOD Hence the long term contract.

It is immaterial if one agrees with the outcome or not of this Crash Net poll, I for one don't. But having said that I except the fact that “and others should remove their blinkers or wake up to the fact that” the majority of pollsters on Crash Net have not only totally abandoned Lulu in a big way but seems to have wanted to show it clearly by driving this last nail in the end of year Lulu coffin.

Good year for JB, the fans of his team mate increasingly/inversly quietned down once the threat of JB being McLarens lead points scorer became reality. Arguably the second best driver/car combo of the year.

If Webber had the same season as Button, people would have said that Webber had a bad season due to the points deficit to Vettel and claimed that the results were purely down to the car. If Hamilton had the same year as Button, it would have been described as an average year and that the fact he failed to beat his teammate in qualifying as a problem, because it would have suggested he didn't have the raw pace. Yet, because it is Button, who before Brawn GP only fought at the front for one season, he is classed as the best driver because for him it was an outstanding season. Personally, I believe the best best driver in F1 should be the fastest yet he failed to beat Hamilton in qualifying, someone who people regard as not being a top ten driver apparently.
