F1 » 'Not good enough' Alguersuari would pass on HRT

Jaime Alguersuari would prefer to look for a reserve role to remain in F1, rather than taking 'a step backwards' to join HRT.

Pedro de la Rosa left a McLaren reserve driver job to drive for HRT Jamie knocked back a drive with HRT for a possible test drive with Mac - crazy.

I guess like Buemi he would be thinking if he gets a reserve driver job with a top team and he gets to drive a top car he will blitz the field and become an instant hit every team would want him.

Why do these F1 rejects think they have a given right to a drive in LeMans, Buemi, Chandhok and now Alguersuari. LeMans dosen't need or want them thank you its not a dumping ground for F1's rejects its the racing of the future, Big cars Big engines Big Balls

Why, why, why?! Does Helmut Marko have a say in anything? Incomplete despise the man for his biased ways towards Vettel and the way he treats other drivers within the Red Bull outfit including Webber. He had a go at Alguersuari on Korea for supposedly holding up Vettel when they were both on competitive laps. Just because his "Golden Boy" had trouble getting past, then Alguersuari brilliantly defends himself it's in the season review. He also knows nothing about the sport, just listen to the things he says in interviews and whenever the camera is in the Red Bull pit. I can't believe Burmi gets the reseve role over Alguersuari, I hope he gets a drive thus year, if not... Then in a good car next season! As for Marko... Red Bull sack him!!!

@bojan I apologize I didn't know that! He couldn't have been any good though, I've never heard him mentioned that he raced! I still think he shouldn't ne part of F1.

Liam - out of interest Marko drove in only a few GPs so it is difficult to judge whether he would have been any good. He was still getting established when a stone from a car ahead of him went through his helmet visor and blinded him in one eye. End of F1 career. His major achievement was winning the Le Mans 24 hour race driving a Porsche 917 so he obviously wasn't a complete rabbit.
