angie. no, i was just musing that there could be a hotshoe appearing in another formula, during 2012.
if vergne (str)shines, then he could move to rbr, replacing webber in 2013 0r 2014. he wouldnt be likely to go to ferrari. and kimi will never go back to ferrari, and ferrari wouldnt want to go through the same again, with him either.

@Richard
I don't think they will promote Vergne to RBR even if he is good. He is too arrogant for a no2 driver & I don't see him being better than Vettel.
Horner had once said that Redbull need a no.2 who will understand his position as no.2.

What's ur take on new pairing at Ferrari in 2013 if Ferdi underperforms in 2012?

If Alonso doesn't win the championship in the next 2 years Vettel will be at Ferrari for 2015, maybe 2014. Have you heard all the yummy noises Luca makes about Seb? only a matter of time mark my words.

It looks like Ferrari were genuinly interested in Kubica for 2013, that may have hit the buffers now which is a shame. Button would like to go to Ferrari and Ferrari speak highly of him, he has a contract with McLaren but that could be broken.

@Taipan
I don't think Seb Vettel is interested in Ferrari. He just makes noises to get a better pay from Redbull. Everybody including Montezmolo expected Seb to join Ferrari in 2012 but he extended his contract with Redbull.
BTW do u think Seb will b as light-hearted even if he joins Ferrari or any other team?
Is Seb really light-hearted or is he like that thanks to Horner or to project Redbull's image &/or his image? He is friendly and chatty for sure.

angie. i didnt think that vergne is arrogant, but then i dont know much about him other than his performances which seem to be good. but he would be a suitable partner for seb. rbr dont make a no1 or 2.
yes, i can see seb at ferrari within a few years.
i might be out on a limb here, but looking at the changes within ferrari, it would not surprise me if alonso wins the wdc this year. at least it will be between him and seb.
ty, before his latest accident, i said that kubica would not be back in f1. the undisclosed signs have not been good, and even if they were, i wouldnt see him at ferrari, unles a marketing decision is made, to assist sales in russia. but button? now that he is a number 1, ferrari wouldnt sign him up as a number 2, would they?

Angelina, Seb has a great attitude that's for sure, but you're allowed to have fun at Ferrari as well (as long as you're winning!) Remember Schumacher conducting the Tifosi from the podium and wearing red wigs etc.
Luca's comment recently about liking drivers who used their head more than their right foot was courting Seb. Seb likes records, he likes making F1 history, where better to go than Ferrari when the time comes? I can't think of many drivers that don't have the dream of being a success at Ferrari and if they seriously go after him would he refuse?

Massa couldn't beat Alonso if you gave him a big stick. He's flattered to deceive for over a decade now. He was nearly good, but it didn't quite happen. Ferrari are only keeping him on because they wan a number two who won't trouble Alonso.

ty. whereas i could see the possibility of seb at ferrari, i think that he is totally comfortable at rbr, and if newey continues to design fast cars, then seb will stay there. as the top three teams are so close in true performance, it is the driver that makes the difference, so seb could only afford to move to ferrari, IF ferrari suddenly found a 1+sec advantage over the rest, and that is unlikely.

and by the way, have you noticed the sudden improvement in angies comments and diction? she must have found her star.
