Waste of space, really. He should be racing Porsches in GT2, not on a LMP, he'll be seconds off the pace.

Endurance racing has stopped being about consistency over speed a couple years ago. Now it's a sprint from green to chequered flag. Take a look at the previous 3 or 4 24h du Mans.

Pity JRM are wasting a seat on this guy. Brabham is an excellent driver, as is Dumbrek, but Chandhok has no experience and no speed. Fail.

@ race fan,

you haven't seen him in a competitive race car so you can't make that assessment. But I can say this: Bruno Senna did drive for Oreca, one of the top sportscar teams.

At HRT, Karun was outclassing Bruno Senna.

I think he might become the fastest guy in the car, after he learns it well.

Amazing logic there, claiming Chandhok will fail miserably in LMES because he didn't manage to establish himself in F1. Against... David Brabham, who really set the world alight in F1. And Peter Dumbreck, the superstar racer of... Japanese F3 and DTM. Please, you're not making any sense. Now don't get me wrong, I think both Brabham and Dumbreck are quality drivers, I just don't get what on earth would make you draw the conclusion that they are somehow in a different league to Chandhok, who happens to be a GP2 race winner?
