In my mind, Vettel is slightly faster in qualifying and on the opening laps, then I see things evening out over race distance. Herr Berger is right though, since Adrian Newey, and as very appropriately mentioned, his team give a little edge. It is probably even the edge that gives Vettel the edge in the early part of the race.

What I find interesting is the thought of some of Adrian's team being poached and brought to Ferrari, McLaren or Mercedes. That could be very interesting. What would be more interesting would be for Adrian to get his own team, perhaps with Michael as his partner.javascript:insertTextCursor('comment',%20':)')

Having the fastest car with the slowest brain ain't gonna help lulu much.
But this is great news for Webber tho, because Vettel has known this for a couple of years now.

Mo :)

The reason Vettel "evens out" later in the race is the fact that he's smart and he knows that finishing 48 seconds ahead of everyone only serves to destroy his tires, so he slows down and controls the race from 10-15 sec. ahead.
And for those who think Vettel is just an ordinary driver in the "fastest car..." Keep in mind that Jenson button would be world champion today in a McLaren if we had 2 Mark Webbers driving.
So, it takes a top-shelf designer like Newey AND a top shelf driver like Vettel, or the championships cant be won!

Adrians where he is because he doesn't need the bullsh#t,the politics and the backstabbing associated with the other top teams, and he's allowed to get on with it rather than have some control freak watching over him! What a lot of the other teams forget is the art of making people happy and creating the right environment for their employees to give their best without the unnecessary distractions associated with the pressure of the job! Also continuety is important as well as being able to indulge in his own passions. The other top teams need to take note of this!!
