Not impressed by the Hamilton antics...

Not a friend... and not a champion after all... Winning a WDC by luck at last moment it is just a fluke...

I think not more WDC for this over-hyped Briton...

Sutil should have kept his mouth shut. Too late now! Hamilton had an obligation to prepare for and attend the launch of the 2012 McLaren MP4-27, possibly the big day of the year for the team and its sponsors.
Lewis will be all the better off for not having this "friend" around.

@arcuid maybe Lewis saw Lux provoke Sutil... ir's still not clear why this all happened. I'm not defending his actions but I believe a true friend will defend their friend through thick and thin... I see Lewis as a lousy friend and at many times a lousy person!

@Hairpin "I always try to turn these thing around to get a balanced view of any situation".

Good Post!

As you state, turn it around and LH would be lambasted, found guilty by Joe Public with little chance of a fair hearing.

Sutil will disapear into the ether - I bet LH will suffer further - when he appears to have absolutley nothing to do with it!

Holly Mackerel CRASH you got it going full trot Now.
Me thinks this article may make the record..
I believe that Hamilton stated that he did not see the indecent.
That old standard still holds true. Why would one try to defend the indefensible?. A very intelligent move by Mr. Hamilton.

Ride that dog Baby..
The man, Jose

Both this comments thread and Crash.net is turning into a joke, the pure dislike for Lewis Hamilton on this site has turned this story from one of someone being virtually let off with stabbing someone in the neck (stabbing/throwing whatever I wasn't there I don't know) to a bitter diatribe of how Lewis has no friends and doesn't have a mates back etc etc

If it were me, mate or not I'd be distancing myself from whomever did this, and as for the "coward" and "is not a man" statement I don't see distancing yourself from someone capable of this as an act of cowardice if anything its take inner strength to step back and remove yourself from the situation especially when its a close friend involved. Someone should ask Sutil if being a man means glassing someone in a nightclub because if it does I'm not a man either.

Sutil should be wanting the dust to settle and this to vanish as quickly as his f1 career is doing. I doubt many teams/sponsors will be looking for someone who's in the news fo

Jose, Lulu DID see the incident but he sent a nice letter to the court saying that he couldn't remember what happened.

It's a bit like when he overtook the safety car and said "I don't remember what happened"

or when he crashed into numerous others and said "I don't remember what happened"

It's either called selective memory or lying, you choose.

I hope your DOG is well.

Sutil should be wanting the dust to settle and this to vanish as quickly as his f1 career is doing. I doubt many teams/sponsors will be looking for someone who's in the news for glassing someone over someone like Rubens who is a safe pair of hands in front of the media and during downtime
