The first timed laps from the RB8 and the MP4-27 were within a tenth of each other, Raikkonen has completed over 50 laps, yet to use the soft tyre infront of 'plenty' of Lotus guests.

Kimi's time is 0.3s faster than the fastest time set in winter testing last year......by?

You can guarantee that the Lotus will have been set up to get the inital headlines as they need them more than any of the other potential front runners. But still good to see him posting fast times.

Wow! HRT must have taken a wrong turn trying to find wherever there offices are now going to be and found them at the testing. Not many people expected them to be at THE FIRST TEST even if it is last year's car.
