the times mean nothing! teams don't go to jerez to put a laps worth of fuel in and see how it goes on a single flyng lap. They'll run all sorts of fuel loads, tyre pressures, wing angles, gearbox ratios, engine maps, trim tabs etc. they'll have piles of data collection gear on board and other experiemntal crap. The fast flying lap is largely irrelevant at this stage of the game.
