Bianchi crashed his Force India car on his third lap and didn't set a time.It looks like that's it for the day.
Not such a huge boost to the team then Force India.

I have been watching these cars in different galleries. They look pretty much the same of their lauch.I guess we must wait for the next test in Barcelona to watch some exciting solutions. Can't wait for Mercedes W03, I red somewhere that their front wing is radical and different to any other F1 car.

Caterham looks way off the pace (is it Giedo or Mike G?) and Ferrari still seem to be mucking about as well. Coupled with he comments made by Massa I'm starting to think the Ferrari isn't all that fast. Sure they might run heavy fuel, but so do some of the others.

jjj. some reports are saying thet the ferrari is actually quite stable. and ferrari pr has said that massa was testing various items "at specific speed limits", i dont think that they have actually gone out to try and set a fastest lap. it may come, but this is a test session, and times are meaningless.

Let's try not to forget that this is pre-season testing and that Williams was the fastest car during pre-season testing at Jerez last year. I think that says it all.

Richard, on Autosport the Ferrari was described as twitchy. Sounds a bit different to the stable you have read - I wonder which one is correct?

Pity Sky aren't showing any footage - just a 30 minute review at the end of the day would be good.

Pre-season testing speed at this time really doesn't mean much. Systems integration, Tire testing and reliability does. To say the Mercedes is fastest is misleading because this is last year car. I would also say that Rosberg and Schumacher should be concerned that that are not testing the new car yet.
