I have never known Newey speak like this before, which makes me think he's not altogether happy with what he has produced in the R08. If he is right, any advantage Mercedes gain will be very short lived. Roll on Barcelona.

Its common knowledge that Merc will have a special front wing with an F-Duct running throught it to stall the front wing as there is no rules on F-ducts being run of front wings,
Martin Whitmarsh recons the Merc front wing F-duct will be worth 5-8kmh.
There also obvious talk that they are pushing the the exhaust rules boundary even further than Ferrari & Mclaren, substantially further....

Yes Adrian, point out to everyone what to look for on other cars (McLaren/Ferrari exhausts) and they may ignore/forget/take less notice of the RB8 (driver cooling etc) untill its too late . . . or maybe not!
