let me see, more choice of cameras and angles on multiple platforms. The bog stock bbc coverage which was/is currently great eventually gets eroded to the point you never see any replays and slo mo. I wouldnt put it past these greedy bar stewards.

All sounds good but I'd rather have "free to air" coverage of the race without all the bells, whistles and endless micro-analysis of the same stuff over and over again.

I decided that I can not justify spending 360 a year on f1 and that I would just watch the highlights on the bbc. I only realized last night that there will be no coverage of the qualifying on the bbc. does anyone know how I can watch the quali this year without sky? online etc? on the plus side I think that sky must be struggling with subscribers,
all the recent announcements of gp2 and gp3 coverage and extended advertising campaigns sounds a little desperate to me.

Firstly, if they're trying to truly replicate attending a race, they need to force you to pick a camera for the entire weekend and stick with it, seeing cars for 10 seconds every 2 minutes. A PIP window can replicate the FOM feed from the large screens positioned around the track.

Also, is it a case of zero BBC qualifying coverage for the entire season, just for the time-shifted broadcasts or is it On-Demand/Red Button only?

ron. do you mean that "epic " pass, where lulu t-boned massa at the hairpin, damaging the aero and steering of massas car, causing him to understeer into the outer barriers.?? wow, that really was "epic"! passing a damaged car!! wow!!

Mentioned it 6 times in this article. hehe

5.1, awesome dude!!

Well, you guys in the UK are So Lucky! Wish we had 5.1 and HD in Canada. Oh wait a second... WE Do!

ONLY 360 pounds per season, sounds like a heck of a deal! What exactly is Bernice's cut anyway?

richard, you always have to spoil everything. Why cant we forget about the clumsy pass at the hairpin and just concentrate on Martin Brundle in ecstasy when looking at the rerun of Hammi passing Massa in the tunnel.

Looking forward to the 9th of march Ive got my kenwood 5.1 surround system ready to go, don't know which mode will be best for getting the best reproduction from sky whether its Arena,pro-logic,stadium or jazz.
