I know you cant read into the times too much but vettel and hamilton have been neck and neck i feel they are the teams to beat but do worry for the team in red

Hamilton did 113 laps and was quick all day. What a difference from last year! We shall see if McLaren's more conservative approach is better than Ferrari's more aggressive approach.

Mclaren ran 114 laps. Red Bull ran 79. In addition it was reported that McL went for long runs during the last session. These two teams will be on top of each other all year long.

rob. you need to look at how the imes were set. seb just went out and posted a fast time, on a cold track. spent the rest of the day on research. lulu started slow and then ran his fastest lap when track was warm. still, he had to do 50% more laps. seb is on top of it!

Caterham are definitely struggling with the 2012 offering after a poor showing in Jerez they will be out to impress in Barcelona and came in effectively last again. It will be interesting to see how they handle Petrov.
