Disclaimer: Yes I know it's only testing. But it's good to see something other than complete hopelessness from Williams. Perhaps they aren't in as bad shape as feared after all... Perhaps they were just spending their time doing proper preparation work rather than chasing laptimes.

Yes but they did that in one test last season and look where it got them. Quite clearly you can make a slow car look fast in testing as they all seem to be able to do it. Obviously a Williams sponsors day today. But do hope they are more competitive this season as their tradition demands a lot better than last season's.

Yes yes, of course. But I mean as far as we all know they could just as well have been trying to showboat in the previous tests too but still be miles off the pace. At least that doesn't seem to be the case... :)

i dont think that williams are showboating. the time is really good, even though it was on super softs. the williams was handicapped by the cossie over the last few years, and this did not allow them to show. now that they have a good engine, we can see their real capabilities. if only they had signed a good driver.....!

HAHA, "really good time", they done a low fuel run on supersofts, and only managed 1.6s quicker MSC on race fuel and hard tyres! they are staying well and truly at the back of the grid...

Why are di Resta and Webber so far down... I nkow it's only testing but seeing di Resta so far down and Hulkenberg doing well the last two days gets me worried, maybe I'm too used to Motorbike testing where they used to go for fast times to guage how well they were doing against their team mates and rivals.
