He is razor sharp sincere in the statements- the fabulous grip is a thing of the past.No sandbagging here. After all, even his diehard fans might want to see his raw talent prevailing rather than RB8.All the conditions are now prepared for that, as they were intended by FIA.
The downside might be however, that while grip was RB's answer to the straights performance of the main rivals last year, now they'll probably have to answer with comparable speeds in every part of the races.

It looks as though Redbull have lost their advantage in the mid speed corners and Mclaren have gained a further straight line advantage due to their conventional nose, if I was a betting man a few quid on Sham for the title would be a good bet.

Tealeaf, I'm no betting man but even if I was I would hardly wager on the Mercedes, it seems to have improved but surely not by that amount. But if I had to I would rather put my money on Rosberg than on Schumacher given that Rosberg has managed to comprehensively beat his team mate for the last two seasons. I suppose time will tell though.

@ tealeaf.
Excuse my ignorance but is Sham, Shamilton? Or schumie?

@Ed, Iwas asking myself the same question and maybe "Dirty Dolores"? came to mind, no reason for it though.

it looks as if one of the renault runners, has spotted that there is a loophole in the regs, whereby some other manufacturer could use a form of off throttle blowing, in the form of a misfire. fia hae moved to prevent this happening. so it looks as if merc or ferrari were going to try a trick or two.
