Yeah ..Buemi doesn't even need to say anything though it's understandable that he does.

Most intersting is the notion that they view FI as a competitor this year, which would defintely be a surprise.

Could just be nothing of course, but the way that it is recorded in this article seems that he's actually serious about it.

Personally I can't wait till Melbourne and see what's what. Hopefully we have at least 2 or three teams in with a shot at the championship and race wins.

He does have a very valid point but it doesn't change the fact that he's not good enough to be a 1st driver in the RBR team.

Marko & Tost and like the two old grumpy men in the muppet show...how apt :)

@Calvin

Marko in particular has a big say in that decision himself so it's kinda like a cruel joke for Buemi. I think Buemi begrudgingly accepted since he didn't really have anywhere else decent to go whithin F1 at that time (like Algy), so he probably ate his pride in hopes to one day strike back with another team.

I'm sure there'll be some tooth grinding when he sees Marko walking down the hall. I can't imagine he really feels well within that environment now where the management basically screwed him over, but I guess he may have a more positive relationship with some of the engineers and mechanics he works with that makes it bareable...

In my opinion HM's success rate has not been that spectacular. If he is really meant to be good at seeking out talent, he's failed a lot of times before coming up with SV. Just think of the drivers he's thrown away.

If Marko can find driver seat for Ricardo and then their seats at TORO ROSO are safe. Unfortunately, Marko could not find seat for Ricardo in other team and then he turned bully on Toro Roso seat for his prodigy.
Marko only care about his interest and he does not care other peoples future interest.
Very understandable for Buemi & Alguersuari and how they felt about dump them almost all teams are finishing line-up for 2012. It's difficult to swallow such as bitterness.
The timing for dumping both drivers was not right. They have left with no seat to find for. Both drivers have improvement in 2011 because car was good. You can not blame drivers for not able to score points if the car was uncompetitive.
Franz Tost can not say no to Marko and he has to drop one driver for Ricardo.
I think he decided to drop both drivers because difficult situation for him to choose between Buemi and Alguersuari.
I wish all the best for both drivers.

It's as if Marko thinks he's God after the huge success of Red Bull and Vettel. But if you take a look at what else the Junior Team has achieved there's really not that much, and the success of the main team is probably more down to the brilliant Newey-designed cars than anything else. Please not that Newey in spite of this doesn't believe he's God. At this point, if you look at the statistics, it's probably better to NOT accept an invitation to the Red Bull Junior team considering the number of drivers who have been picked up only to be ditched after one or maybe two seasons. Say what you want about McLaren and Lewis Hamilton, but at least they did it properly.

Buemi Man you made one big mistake. You put your trust
and alliance with the wrong people.
F1 is a dog eat dog operation. Morals, trust, contracts or
respect between humans means little. Money rules, you should not be surprised that they led you down the golden path.
No surprised here.
One driver was fired and 'payed' Not to race F1 for a whole year.
It's your life, your future, just do your thing, live it as best
you can..
Sometimes this old Dog says "trust no one".
