That's exactly what Williams said when they had him under contract: a good way to increase a driver's value, should the need to get rid of him and negociate his contract with another team happen...!!!
By the way, NC has a record no one should be too proud about: the most points without a victory...
Soon, it will be the most GP without a victory. A strong and talented pilot but no more....!!!

I think that so many of the drivers could win if they were given the right car. In fact it's fair to say that the list of drivers in F1 who couldn't win in the right car is shorter than the list of drivers who could.

brawn seems to be nailng his colours to the rosberg mast, rather than the schumi mast. he has denied stories of a schumi contract for 2013, and is more inclined to talk up nico.

but i do agree with him in respect of nico. maybe if merc decided to give preference to nico, they could get the elusive win?

This must be a "make or break" year for Mercedes and their two drivers.
Schumacher is only in the team on his past record with Ferrari, and is blocking and up and coming drivers
from a decent seat.
Rosberg has done much better but needs podium finishes to cement his reputation
Lets hope Rosberg gets the car he deserves this season
from Mercedes.
I shudder to think how much each championship has cost Mercedes F1

I just wish there were more top cars to go around as this guy in a top car would equal f1's top drivers, its a shame the likes of him and Kobayashi have not been able to get top car as their talents are there for all to see.

If Webber does call it a day at Red Bull next year i hope STR keeps Ricciardo and Vergne and develop their driver skills and Horner goes for Nico. Nico and Vettel driving the RB9 that would be mouth watering.

No doubt in my mind that Rosberg is in the top 10 best F1 drivers right now. He's very consistent and with a good car he could win the championship I have no doubt. In 2010 he showed some fighting spirit despite having the 3rd/4th best car on the grid.

It annoys me that Schumacher is taking a good seat away from the likes of Kobayashi. He was poor in 2010, better in 2011, but even if they get a championship winning car this year, I think Rosberg will edge him out.

Brawn should stop squandering money on the hopeless Schumacher, spend it on the car, and get some new young blood into the team,it would do their crediblity no end of good, whilst at the moment how can anyone take Mercedes serious as a team with the albatross-like Schumacher hanging around, they are just wasting their potential.
