Marussia Racing will not be present with its new car at the final F1 group test of the 2012 pre-season after failing to complete mandatory crash testing.

This is what you get when a team has been starved of cash and driven by hollowed out pipe dreams.

In time the rubles may make them shine, but they have to pass that crash test, so first strike goes to the team in the other corner HRT, they must be pleased.

what is worrying is the fact that half the teams have now had failures of crash tests. maybe they are skimping too much in an effort to save weight. the main problem area seems to be around the front bulkhead. . but even the crash test is not adequate enough to prevent the likes of lotus having mounting points of front suspension, failing. it cannot inspire the confidence of the drivers.
