Melbourne is one of my favorite tracks on the calendar and if Bernie walks away from it just because it won't move the start time along a few hours it would be very disappointing for both the drivers and fans.

@@ Australia at night or deleted

I mentioned this, yesterday, from yesterday s Italian news but people replayed saying it was old news.
It was old rumors , but since Yesterday Mr Ecclestone, the humanitarian he his, wants to increase global warming, and his bank balance.

Maybe Hamillton s self appointed saviour and role model, will move the AUSTRALIAN GP from the Australian fine weather to a new first F1 Undercover track in Middle East or Asia to protect the event from Dust or Tropical rains, and so it will have to be under the lights.
It is a drivel as you pommies say but what he want to do with his crap*py power of 1 is terrible.

Australia with 22 million people is loose change.

We also pay 30% more for our new cars, than same models abroad....We are a small fish..but a beautiful country..

wow that sucks, i know it might not be as "important" or significant as the european races, but come on, it just seems wrong to drop australia in favour of european audiences. its a great day race, cant see it suiting night

the rest of the world doesnt want to get up at 4am just for some race on the far side of the world. It kills the start of the season.
A night race is no inconvenience to the settlers but will make life easier for those of us in the known world.

Of course, because it's ok for us Aussies to watch in the middle of a Sunday night before work on Monday, for majority of races. At least the middle of the night in Europe is still the middle of Saturday night. So not really as much of an inconvienience as he is making it out to be. Also, if people whinge because they work on sunday, well delaying the race wouldn't solve that problem either.

I am so sick of ecclestone. Every year without fail he pops his weedy little head up and threatens another good race. If you dont want to get up early to watch the race record it or watch the re-run and dont listen to any news. Sorted.
