Without a doubt McLaren will be a force this season. They have been consistantly good and have had no unreliability.

McLaren I believe will have both championships this season in what will be the closest season we have had since Lewis first year.

The McLaren is the only car that anyone could honnestly say is doesn't make them want to hurl & turn their heads to avoid having to look at such henous objects, you could even say it's a 'looker' as F1 cars go. I just hope it goes as quick as it looks & they are quick from the start, win a race or two and get the other teams to wake up and update their cars. Alternatively, if they are a bit off the pace, can't Bernie et al just tweak the rules (as they always do!) adding a clause requiring all the cars to have a minimum 'me too factor' or maybe something a little less crude!

I really wish I knew more about what exactly they are fine tuning and testing. I understand the conventional camber, caster, ackerman, diff, rebound..blah, blah, blah, but what kind of "data" are they testing aside from tire deg justradation, load etc? maybe I'm just "hoping" there's more to it than that, but I'd really like to know.
