Sebastian Vettel admits he is not surprised to be tagged as favourite for the 2012 F1 title, especially as he is still very much in love with the sport.

I'm still not sure that I really am a huge fan of this guy, but two things.
You cannot dispute the skill that he possesses, some of those pole laps from last year had Newey and Horner (and me) shaking their heads..
And finally, he is just so obviously passionate about the sport, makes him a very likeable sort.
Can't wait for this season, if it's ANYTHING like 2010, we are in for a treat.

Not really a fan but I definitely agree about his professionalism - he seems a likable chap really. And like so many others I am impressed with this attitude of staying late contributing as much as he can - because he really doesn't have to. He's a superstar now, he can do whatever he wants. Glad to hear it doesn't seem to be getting to his head.

This also makes me recall the story when Pirelli took over as tyre supplier, Vettel - purely on his own initiative- went to visit their HQ and factory just to get an idea of how they were working. No other driver did this. At the same time, he has enough natural speed to be a superstar anyway. So all the more respect to him!

Seems to be a pleasant chap who for whatever reason doesn't get the recognition he deserves.Sporting miracle before our eyes, given all the variables needed for success in F1.Most don't win a race let alone back to back WDC's.Forget the best car arguments he was pretty handy at Toro Rosso.Certainly burst LH's bubble.I can see him wanting try winning again with a different team in te future.
