F1 » Blundell: Hamilton 'one of the best talents sitting in a F1 car'

Mark Blundell: Lewis is a tremendous driver, so if they can get everything stable for him there is no reason why he cannot vie for another World Championship title again.

Possibly the "win it or bin it" attitude from 2011 is tempered for Hamilton. I liked his passion to go for it, but his style did not play into the driver or constructor points strategies. He and his car did not support it.

Hami is making the right noises this year. Talking about points over the course of the year. He sounds like he trusts the Mac development team to keep it close and wait for legitimate opportunities. Do it!

@ an4rew u don't understand what he's saying because u don't want to! All he's saying is the man is a great talent! That doesn't mean he's the best driver or is going to win every race! He has the "potential" to be the best driver! He just hasn't harnessed his talents yet and who knows if he's ever going to! That's what makes him intriguing! Because everyone knows how good he should be!

Blundell is not among my fans - like Brundle (hey thats Martin by the way!!!) he didnt set the tracks alight whilst racing but saying Hamilton is 'one of the best talents sitting in a F1 car' is a gross overstatement. If it was true he would be winning races and F1 titles. Right now Seb Vettel is the man doing that.

@ blzbub I think the jury is still out on Vettel! I want to see him when things aren't so great! When your car isn't the fastest on track and your personal affairs start effecting your driving. The grass won't be green all time! Life lessons so to speak!

Blundell is right. Hamilton indeed has talent inside a F1 car.... talent to make us laugh! Imagine who would ever slam into a stopped car in the pitlane. Beaching it on the pit entry in China... lol, i can still recall him motioning to the stewards to push him hahaha now that was really funny. Choking on the start grid in Brazil is one of his highlights as a racer/comedian too.
He's also funny out of a F1 car too... tire burnouts in the parking lot, liegate and his non stop press releases. His comedy probably knows no bounds! What a talent this guy is!
