he was only just over a tenth off after sector 2.he as a real chance of chalenging mclaren tomorow.the mercedes certainly as the speed to overtake lewis and jenson,it will all be down to tyre degridation and stratagy.if schumis starting last year is anything to go by i wouldnt be suprised if hes made a couple of places up on the first lap.what a differance a good car makes....hope he wins ...maybe we will start and see the old schumi again..fast super consistant and never boring

Haha get in schu! definately kicked the haters in to touch now.. matched rosberg all quali if not quicker, hopefully its a sign to come. very good chance of a poduim tomorrow wins also in sight

Mercedes have the race pace...so i think mercedes have the great chance of winning Australian grand prize..

sodesu. i am glad to see that someone else has cottoned on to the fact that the system is only of benefit in quali or when attempting a race pass. in other words, as i posted elsewhere, it is only a passing aid, and does not reflect race pace.

sure they will lose some top speed through the passive f duct only being able to operate when drs in deployed. but maybe the can adjust the front wing by loseing a little down force it may even up a little bit on drag.but its only worth a couple of tenths per lap anyway.and who knows if he can manage his tyres and they get the stratagy right he could be on for his first podium or first win even...

nath. you must have spent a lot of time composing that post. although i still cannot understand it.

perhaps if you have some mechanical expertise, you could add something to the subject.
