F1 » Hamilton: It wasn't my day

Lewis Hamilton: I'm not sure what happened at the start, but I lost ground and then suffered from tyre degradation at the end of the first stint...

@ Gordo

Of course he can't explain the gap to Jenson, he's more deluded than his lovers on this forum, he thinks he's miles faster than Jenson and he probably thinks he would beat Seb in the same car, well I got news for you Sham: Seb can catch you and beat you in a SLOWER car, you couldn't match Jenson in the same car in a straight fight, Ron will give you the title but as a driver it's clear Vettel, Alonso, Button and probably others are just simply better, quite simple.

@Gordo
The performance gap is simple... Button is simply better. He drives smooter, faster and more controlled. He's better to his engineers/team that's why they work harder for him and probably knows his preferences.
And Hamilton? .... he has really mastered the art of choking when the lights go out. Plus his team is probably unmotivated to do the little extras to give him that extra 10th of a second.
I reckon Lewis Hamilchoke will never win another WDC.

Jenson has got into Hamilton's head. This iswhat is destroying Lewis. I was amazed and happy to see Jenson pulling away from Hamilton and controlling the race, letting Hamilton close then easily stretching the gap before the pit stops. Jenson is by far the better driver of the two.

The dark brooding look on Lewis Hamiltons face on the podium was classic Ron Dennis Frankenstein,ungrateful and petulent.And when he tossed the third place trophy on the ground well thats a bell weather for Lewis Hamiltons 2012 season.Those who control and those in the know expected a Lewis Hamilton short coming and they got it.It looks like Lewis is fearing the reaper.

Yesterday everyone was saying you can't tell the season from a single qualifying session, but today you all predict the future from a single race... Very convenient. And that was race where Hamilton finished 3rd and performed to finish 2nd, I don't want to imagine if he'd finished 5th or worse...

Jenson Button was the fastest of the two today, it wasn't the first time and it isn't going to be the last. That's what happens when you team together two world champions and allow them to race. McLaren won't favour any of their drivers unlike Ferrari or Red Bull have done in recent seasons.

It's good that he was pissed off. He knows he's better than that, and he's hungry for victories. And he probably didn't like all the time he lost because he had to delay his first pit stop and how the security car played out for him. Well, **** happens. But it never happens to the same guy all the time. Next round in a week. Can't wait.
