Lewis Hamilton: I'm not sure what happened at the start, but I lost ground and then suffered from tyre degradation at the end of the first stint...

This commentary isn't reflective of the "Mr Hyde" we saw in the interview after the race. This must be a smoke-and-mirrors press release from the propaganda department at McLaren.
It looks like Jenson Button will be the source of Hamilton's angst this season.

Not disheartened? During the post race interview He was pouting like a little kid that dropped ice cream in a pile of p00!

Was not exactly gracious in defeat. Love him or hate him, Vettel proved he's not only fast from the front today. And he conducted himself like a proper championafter the race.

Button was fast today. FROM WORD GO HE PULLED A GAP and to set the fastest lap of the race on the second last, proves that his haters that say saving tyres means nothing, ARE WRONG! Clearly button is the most complete driver on the grid in the right car.

I think Lewis needs to spend a season or two in a Marussia or HRT. This guy doesn't appreciate a damn thing and is a perfect example of the "entitlement generation". Can we blame him entirely? Nope. Those around him helped create Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

There are 21 guys that would of LOVED to of been third, Drama queen.

Tomcol - Hamilton was right there to offer his hand to Button as button got out of the car.

Ghost - Put those 21 drivers in the car that took pole position, and who's sister car won the race in dominant fashion and tell me that they'd still be happy about going backwards. If they are then I think that is a bigger issue.

Button drove an excellent race today and was insanely fast - He deserved the win. And from Hamilton's perspective it has to be alarming that Button was so much faster in the same car. He can't allow that to effect him any further than the disappointment though, and he'll need to get over it quickly. First real test to determine if he's matured from 2011 is right here. A podium is decent, and there are plenty of opportunities ahead provided that he keeps his focus and works hard with the team.

Looks to be an exciting season ahead and will be interesting to see which car is best suited to Malaysia.

What are you talking about??? He congratulated Button when they were being weighted, then again at the podium, then again in the press conference. What utter nonsense...

Well said Tomcol, a truly disgraceful display of sportsmanship once again from McLaren's spoiled brat and once again he embarrasses a team that places image so high on it's agenda.
Now were is SpongeRob with his "Lewis is a team player" nonsense, probably sulking in a corner again, much like his little hero.
