F1 » Raikkonen: Result could easily have been better

Kimi Raikkonen: Overall the weekend was far from ideal, but the car feels good and to come back to seventh means we at least come away with some points.

I watched the Sky and BBC coverage and DC picked up very interesting and important point that Sky missed that when Raikkonen got into clear air he was the second fastest guy on the track and setting fastest sectors too. Just think what he could have done if he got into Q3. I still believe he is one of the most naturally talented guys on the grid and today showed it. His race craft was as good as ever, him and Kobayashi, great racers and had respect for each other on track. I think the Lotus isn't too far off the McLaren and Red Bull. Bring on Sepang!!!

yup i remember very clearly at one point in the race kimi was just a mere tenth off button's pace who was the pace setter for the entire day,i think its very clear what this car is capable of after Grosjean's 3rd in qualifying. seems like a very good season so far despite the unfortunate retirement of schu and grosjean. seeing a lot of different teams fighting for positions and not a boring red bull win everyr ace. i think kimi can win a few races

"Wonder why Ferrari did not ditch Massa for Alonso?"

I would ask Alonso and Santander that question... Alonso doesn't like teammates that challenge him. Great race today.. Kimi and Kamui are definately two of the best wheel to wheel racers out there.
