I think the political bickering might overshadow the racing if the story about Ferrari and RBR becoming stake holders in the sport is true, it's not like F1 for the politics to overshadow the racing.

It does seem like ingredients are there for a great season though, with Kimi back, Merc a bit more competitive, McLaren with an initial advantage, Lotus looking handy, it could be a cracker.

Button pulled a "Vettel" with a handy and more importantly, maintainable 3-4sec in hand for most of the race. Looking good for Macca this year. And looking VERY good for us.
On another note, I had a chance to see the UK feed of Sky Sports F1 channel, great coverage, only reason that it was better than last year's BBC coverage was that DC wand EJ were missing. Also caught the BBC coverage of Qually, and they seemed lost.
You guys in the UK have crap commercials. If you have to have commercials anyway, at least make them less nauseating. Our commercials are better, we've had them forever and they have learned to make them more interesting in order to forestall a public revolt.
I can only hope for your sake that they learn the same lesson over there...

yeah I know, but the pre and post qually and race are full of them, as were all the FP sessions. In short, every OTHER chance that they had.
Agree on the replays though, the race coverage started here at 2 am, set my alarm, but rolled over again, knowing that there was a replay at 5:30 am. Watched that and then went back to bed happy.

Well, I am delighted for you droog, that your commercials are better than ours, that must mean that your country is far better than ours,

I only saw the sky transmission on the net and in my view i didn't think it was good as the BBC last year, it will be interesting to see what the BBC do when they have a live broadcast, croft and brundles commentary was good but no better than Edwards and Coulthard

droog. must admit that i dont bother with pre or post parts of broadcast. just the race satisfies me! actually, something that has not been mentioned yet, is the fact that apart from the last lap mess up on the finish line around 10th place, it was a boring, processional race!
