bla bla, same story as last year. now back then i've said that schumacher won't make to the podium during the championship, and many of you disagreed but i was right, now mercedes seems to be a little faster but still they are no way near where the pre-season let us all think, now i am open to make another bet with you guys that he will not score a single victory this championship nor nico for that mater so what do you say?

me. they may scrape a podium but i doubt that they will get a win. with this controversial f duct, merc are hoping that as they can use it in quali, that they may get a pole or two, and then the aim is to try and block anyone passing. however, as i have said before, the fact that the drs/f duct cannot be used during the race, unless passing, means that their poorer race pace will keep them around 5-9 placings.

i would imagine that daimler ag are getting a bit fed up by now.

OK Me I'll stick a tenner on them getting a podium this season, if they don't make it I'll send you an I Owe Me.

Richard you just don't listen! Spongy has explained that there's no blocking his year, that's why Lulu was an overtaking demon in Melbourne....

He'll qualify within the top 4 at Sepang because there are a lot of long straights there and the car is superior on the straights to the rest. I think during the race he'll get in the top 5 as long as the car holds up, I was really impressed by his drive at Melbourne, he was pulling away from 5th which was his team mate and holding off Vettel brilliantly before his gearbox broke.

Can't wait for Sepang, I hope the podium will be Button, Webber & Schumacher, don't count out the rain as well!

I really believe we're going to see MS on the podium a few times this season...the Mercedes is a performer and as long as it remains reliable, I expect he'll be battling, as will Rosberg. I like it, because it makes the races and the entire WDC a whole lot more interesting. I don't want to watch another season where one guy takes off with it and the championship is over two races before the end of the season.

It's clear McClaren and RBR won in the turns, which had me wondering if Merc were still testing their setup and trying to place well on top-end speed alone? Whatever the case, I think they'll adjust and become a bigger threat as the season progresses. Who knows, maybe Merc will show up with the high down force package this weekend and surprise everyone.

ty. so sorry for not listening to rob. funny thing is, that ross brawn also didnt listen. he has stated that they aim to get their car to the front in quali and then to keep the other cars behind!
surprised that rob hasnt noticed seb blocking lulu, to keep him behind.

but did you watch the start? nico went from left side, all the way over to the right and back to the left. i havent see such a change of direction for yonks!

Richard. You know your last comment is a bit biased. You can change direction as many times as you like if your going forward. He didn't move left to right to block. But I do appreciate your honesty with the source of your q3 fact.

You are not really in the mix, your gearing is all wrong for racing, it is suited to doing qualifying laps with DRS and Front F-Duct open on all the straights so you don't bounce your engine off the rev limiter because of your artificial top speed, this is why Vettel overtook Rosberg so easily and why Your gearbox failed, your qualifying times are just a nuisance as you cannot maintain the speed in the race as you cannot open DRS all the time. FACT.
